COMMON EXPERIMENT
Cropland
The LTAR Common Experiment Cropland Working Group
Mission: To facilitate successful establishment of the LTAR Croplands Common Experiment.

Mission: To facilitate successful establishment of the LTAR Common Experiment.

Biological
The LTAR Biological Working Group
Mission: To define a consistent set of instruments and procedures to measure biological variables across the LTAR network.

Data Management
The LTAR Data Management Working Group
Mission: To collect data, organize information, and perform analysis to enable knowledge generation that promotes wise decisions and sustainable agro-ecosystems.

Eddy Flux CO
The LTAR Eddy Covariance/Flux Working Group
Mission: To identify an appropriate set of sensors and procedures for collecting and processing the data needed to measure both the surface fluxes (heat, moisture, carbon dioxide, and momentum) and associated meteorological and surface properties to ensure consistent high-quality data across the LTAR network.

Hydrology
The LTAR Hydrology Working Group
Mission: To define a consistent set of instruments and data processing procedures for measuring critical hydrologic variables (discharge and water quality) across the LTAR network at the precision and scales needed to enhance the performance of our analyses and support relevant agricultural and hydrologic models.

Meteorology

Mission: To define a consistent set of instruments and data processing procedures to measure meteorology variables across the LTAR network.

Non CO2 Gases

Mission: To support common observations of soil N2O emissions from Common Experiment treatments at all LTAR sites.

Mission: To share information about, develop resources for, and conduct networked research related to remote sensing and GIS in the LTAR network.
